Find-a-Coach Directory
In forming a partnership, people naturally gravitate toward others they are comfortable with and feel they can trust. A coaching relationship is no different. Finding the best possible coach for YOU to work with may take some time and effort but can make all the difference in the world. Selecting the coach most suited to your needs and personality will greatly increase your level of success and satisfaction. Baraka Institute is prepared to assist you with this process. Below are some hints to help you make this important choice.
- Decide what type of coaching would best help you meet your goals.
There are many different arenas of coaching to fulfill the various needs of its recipients – personal or lifestyle, personal or professional development, business or organizational development, and more. The coaches at Baraka Institute are trained in whole person and whole system design enabling them to assist a diverse clientele with fulfilling their objectives.
- Determine what traits are important to you in a coach.
These can be anything from gender and age to professional/life experiences and fee structure.
- Look for offers of free consultations.
This gives you the opportunity to meet with coaches and get a feel for how they operate, what their specialties are and if you have “chemistry” with them.
- Get referrals.
Look to friends, associates, etc. for recommendations. Though you may not meet with success right away, it may be a good place to start. Ask coaches that you interview for names of others who may better meet your criteria.
