Visioning & Futuring

Failing to prepare for the changes inherent in moving forward can set you back in your drive toward desired outcomes, sometimes never to recover. Many aspects of a business change frequently – client tastes and needs, competition, economical factors, laws, etc. – and it is important to have a plan in place so adjustments can be made as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Sometimes an organization does well despite having a plan but may have had far greater success had it had a clearly defined strategy; a shared vision. Not having a plan for the future can also have a negative affect on the company’s employees. With no clear goals to aim for, and perhaps a noticeable lack of company direction and progress, people often become insecure or even apathetic.

Though preparing a well engineered strategic plan can be costly (both time and money), companies really can’t afford not to make this investment.
